This is a professional development training program for engineers, business analysts, business architects, enterprise architects and system testers. The focus is on functional requirements and the various sources of where they come from. A list of key criteria needed to assess the quality of a functional requirement is expanded upon, with examples from real-life projects for both poor and solid requirements.

20 years of experience managing projects and teaching project management and systems engineering classes. Managed over $150 million worth of projects in technology, IT, telecom, non-profit, higher education, manufacturing and travel. Adjunct faculty at Prince George's Community College. Author of dozens of articles in the area of technology management, two project management books, and project management workshops.

Ayman has developed dozens of business, system and component requirement documents for technology products, software systems and business initiatives. He is an INCOSE Certified Systems Engineer Professional, a PMI certified PMP, an ASQ certified Six Sigma Greenbelt, Manager of Quality and Operational Excellence and a Certified IT Architect by The Open Group and IBM Corporation. Ayman a Systems Engineer and Architect at IBM responsible for ensuring the application of systems engineering methodologies and concepts to complex software systems projects, and has held senior product development and systems engineering roles at Ericsson, Northrp Grumman and RPM Consulting. He has a number of patents in systems management and sustainability.

Ayman has devised several unique approaches and tools for systems engineering and management, such as capturing lessons learned, systems-based facilitation, systems sustainability, and value proposition of systems. Ayman chairs the IBM Systems Value Proposition and the IBM Systems Sustainability and Viability communities of interest, and has been a speaker at several IBM technical forums on topics of requirements prioritization and systems engineering value proposition.
